Hey again! I’ve gotten to the weekend portion of the 2019 Polyglot Gathering blog series. There are still 2 epic days left in the event, and here’s how Saturday went.
What up guys! Well, I didn’t always decide that I was going to the 2019 Polyglot Gathering until February. But before that, I made a resolution to learn 2 new languages. It’s been 5 months since I made that decision, and I tried to study as much as I could. So, let me see how I did before I travel in a few days. Continue reading “Yes, yes. Everyone knows where I’m going very soon, but let me look back at what I’ve accomplished since January, cuz I’m pretty amazed myself.”
Hello guys! It’s been a while since I’ve sat down and started putting some of my thoughts down. I hope everyone had a great holiday season, whether or not you celebrate it.
As everyone knows, I was just abroad for a few months, mainly in Central Europe. Knowing that I was going to spend a good while in Poland, I started to learn some Polish before the trip. But during the trip, and after, I’ve learned some things about language learning that could probably serve some help to some people. I would also like to add a disclaimer that this was my experience traveling and using my foreign languages abroad, and your experience may vary. 😉
I remember I was supposed to write this one for another blog, but since they must’ve forgotten, well, I didn’t forget. 🙂 Now, when most people start learning a language for the first time, they might dread that day when they will have to try out their new skills for the first time, either in person or online. Not to worry! As a veteran of language exchanges, here’s some tips on how you can make a positive experience out of your first ever language exchange, and get better as you do them more often.
Hi guys! It’s been a while since I’ve last wrote something on here, but, if you read my last blog post, I’m busy with a new language project, and planning for my next journey abroad. But somewhere along the line I do make time to hang out with friends or help some needy soul improve their English or Spanish. But one chat I’ve had recently with someone about my last few years in language learning led me to make this post, and to reflect and share with you all some changes in my language learning that I have made.
